Lynn Caswell, CPA
Lynn is a founding partner of Altruis and currently leads the firm's tax practice. Lynn specializes in advising individuals, businesses, estates and trusts. She services clients across a broad range of industries including professional services, real estate, retail and not-for-profits.
Lynn has been in public accounting for more than 30 years and her experience includes providing accounting, audit and tax services to a wide range of clients. It is this experience that equips Lynn to provide strategic approach to serving clients that extends beyond traditional roles to effectively turn client needs into actionable plans.
She values every opportunity to help clients achieve their business and personal goals through a long-standing proactive comprehensive relationship.
Lynn received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University with a concentration in accounting. Her professional affiliations include:

- North Atlanta Chapter of the GSCPA (former chapter president)
Lynn spends her free time with her family on their small farm gardening and tending to their variety of animals.
Angel Sterling, EA, Tax Supervisor
Angel Sterling is an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) with four years of expertise in Business Administration, Taxation, and Accounting. Her professional approach, combined with a strong commitment to excellence, ensures that clients receive the highest quality service. Currently, Angel is enhancing her qualifications by working toward obtaining her CPA license. She has only a few classes and the CPA exam remaining before she becomes the newest CPA at Altruis.
Driven by a deep-rooted passion for helping others achieve financial success, Angel utilizes her tax and accounting expertise to empower both individuals and businesses in meeting their financial goals.
Outside of her professional life, Angel enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with her family. She resides in Brock, Texas, with her husband, son, and their beloved chocolate lab, Brutus.
Sydney Batterham, Tax Supervisor
We are pleased to announce that Sydney Batterham has joined the Altruis CPAs team as a Tax Supervisor. Sydney is a recent graduate from UNG Dahlonega with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After successfully interning with Altruis CPAs for the past few months, we are thrilled that she has decided to join our team permanently. Sydney brings excellent attention to detail, exceptional client service skills, and a passion for taking on new challenges. Her commitment to quality and client satisfaction aligns perfectly with our firm’s values.
Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Sydney now calls Atlanta, Georgia home. When she’s not helping clients navigate their tax needs, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, exploring new places, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
